Return Obsolete Computer

Has your Digital Inclusion computer become obsolete?
If so, you can return it — and, if you still meet our eligibility criteria, you may request a new computer.
(See below for the current obsolescence criteria.)

Steps to Return an Obsolete Computer:

  1. Obsolescence Check: If you believe your computer meets our obsolescence criteria, please complete the form below to request an appointment with our repair service. During this appointment, a technician will assess the device and confirm whether it is considered obsolete.
  2. Submitting a New Application: Once your computer has been certified as obsolete, you may submit a new application following the standard application procedure on our website. Please note that you must return the obsolete computer no later than the day you come to pick up the new one (if eligible).

Digital Inclusion’s current (2025) obsoletion criteria:

A computer is obsolete if:

  • It can only run Windows 10 and cannot be upgraded to Windows 11. This is the case if CPU is Intel Core-i (7th gen or earlier) or older (or with AMD K10/Athlon/Athlon II CPU or older).
  • In case of a Mac computer, we consider it obsolete if it is a 2016 model or older.
